Sitaara Begum

Under the umbrella of art, many unconventional disciplines like jewellery, food, design, etc find home. What is truly fascinating is when these disciplines overlap and create a uniquely beautiful world showcasing the fluidity of art and its interpretation.
At Bruijn, we are constantly exploring this juxtaposition to highlight the fact that our handcrafted delicacies are no less than pieces of art when measured in appearance, taste or quality. An adornment of rose petals or the light powdering of pistachio dust, all are akin to a jeweler's endeavors to enhance their own objects of art.
Hence, our latest collaboration witnesses Sitaara Begum, adorned in her handmade jewels, become both our muse and mascot to reflect the glory of this slow summer. Keywords like playful, handcrafted, modern and tangible emerge to describe our summer launches, blurring the lines between art and food.
